Gastroenterology is the branch of medicine that focuses on the digestive system, including the oesophagus, stomach, small and large intestines, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder. It involves the diagnosis and treatment of various digestive disorders such as acid reflux, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, and liver disease. Gastroenterologists use a range of techniques and procedures to diagnose and manage these conditions, including endoscopy, colonoscopy, and liver biopsy.
The Centre is equipped with an infrastructure of international standards consisting of dedicated ICU space, well-designed three endoscopy suites in line with international guidelines.
